Hello and welcome to the WoodCreek JH Band!
The purpose of this site is to provide information about our program to newcomers and prospective students and a nexus to our other digital sites for current students and parents/guardians. Things NOT included on our website are most photos/videos of our performances (this is on social media), sheet music (linked on Canvas), or schedules/itineraries (distributed via Remind). With the exception of Canvas, you can easily get “plugged in” to our other digital sites by exploring this site! There are a few action items below to get your student started for the new school year:
1. Join our Remind by following the links below, or by texting the codes below to 81810. All students MUST have at least one parent/guardian subscribed to the Parent Remind classes. In addition, Honors, Symphonic, and Concert Band student members are required to join their Remind class; First-Year Band students are not required to join but it is highly recommended.

2. Sync your device’s calendar with Charms (instructions below). Although this is not required, we highly recommend syncing your device's calendar with Charms so that any additions or adjustments to our calendar will automatically be made on your device. Since we are utilizing Remind for communication this year, there is no need to log into Charms at this time.

3. Complete the "Parent/Guardian Authorization for Regular Extracurricular Travel and Consent to Emergency Treatment of Student" form (this form will be HARD COPY and will NOT be completed on Rank One this year. This form will be distributed during the first week of school or you can print it yourself HERE. All forms MUST be completed before students will be permitted to participate in an extracurricular events.
4. Complete the 23/24 WCJH Band Information, Handbook, & Course Fee Form; submit student/parent information, pay the course fee, and join the Band Booster Assoc. (optional). This form also includes the handbook agreement; our Band Handbook is available for download HERE. All forms MUST be completed before students will be permitted to participate in an extracurricular events.
5. Students playing a school-owned instrument will need to complete the Katy ISD Instrument Usage Fee Agreement and Repair Agreement. This includes all students playing oboe, bassoon, bass clarinet, tenor sax, baritone sax, french horn, euphonium, or tuba. In addition, percussionists enrolled in Concert, Symphonic, or Honors Band must pay and complete the form in order to use the school-owned percussion equipment. Please contact us if you need a payment extension.
